La historia gira alrededor de cuatro bellas jóvenes de 21 años que provienen de estratos sociales
diferentes. La primera de ellas, Laura, es una chica de clase media, seria, sensible y estudiosa, que puede estudiar informática
en una universidad privada porque ganó una beca. Ahí conoce a Jimena de la O, hija de un empresario millonario. Al principio,
habrá muchos roces entre las dos, pero poco a poco se formará entre ellas un fuerte lazo de amistad. Jimena es la típica niña
rica, disipada e irresponsable, para quien el sexo es sólo otra manera de divertirse. Ofelia es la mejor amiga de Jimena.
Como ella, es rica y lleva un estilo de vida de diversión y frívolos placeres. Sin embargo, la tragedia marcará su destino
y le abrirá los ojos a una dura realidad: el sida. La cuarta protagonista es una muchacha de extracción humilde llamada Nayeli,
quien trabaja como sirvienta en casa de Jimena. El sueño de Nayeli es convertirse en estrella de Hollywood, como su ídolo,
Salma Hayek. Este sueño la llevará a entrar en Estados Unidos ilegalmente y vivir experiencias muy amargas.
History turns around four beautiful young people of 21 years that come from different social layers. First
of them, Laura, she is a girl of middle-class, serious, sensible and studious, that can study computer science in a private
university because it gained a scholarship. There it knows Jimena Or, daughter of a millionaire industralist. At the outset,
there will be many rubbing between the two, but little by little a fort will form among them friendship bow. Jimena is the
typical rich, dissipated and irresponsible girl, for whom sex is only another way to amuse itself. Ofelia is the best friend
of Jimena. Like her, she is rich and it takes to a style of life of diversion and frivolous pleasures. Nevertheless, the tragedy
will mark its destiny and it will be on the awares to him to one lasts reality: AIDS. The fourth protagonist is a girl of
humble extraction called Nayeli, that works like maid in house of Jimena. The dream of Nayeli is to become star of Hollywood,
like his ídolo, Salma Hayek. To this it will take it dream to enter the United States illegally and to live very bitter experiences.
