En un barrio marginal del D.F. vive la adolescente Ana con su madre, sus hermanitas, y su
padrastro, el maleante Rodolfo "El Gato" Sánchez. A pesar de vivir en la miseria, de ser testigo del abuso de su madre por
parte del padrastro, y de ser ella misma víctima del acoso sexual de Rodolfo, Ana es una niña optimista, soñadora y muy trabajadora.
En un barrio elegante, vive el prestigioso director de orquesta Guillermo Lamas, quien una vez fuera un niño marginal al igual
que Ana. Guillermo ahora es feliz junto a su esposa Isabel y su hija Alejandra. Pero Isabel muere y Alejandra queda inválida
a raíz de un accidente. Guillermo destrozado, cae en la desesperación más profunda. El Gato mata a uno de sus secuaces y Ana
es testigo. La chica es acusada de ser cómplice de su padrastro y termina en La Colmena una escuela-orfanato para niñas delincuentes.
Las monjas que regentan La Colmena le dan a Ana el cariño y apoyo que tanto necesita. La chica comienza a ocuparse de la emisora
del colegio y bajo el apodo de "la Hormiga" se comunica con la enfermita Alejandra. Es así como Ana conocerá a los Lamas

the part of padrastro, and of being she herself victim of the harassment sexual of Rodolfo, Ana is an optimistic, dreamy girl
and very worker. In an elegant district, the prestigious conductor lives Guillermo You lick, who once outside a marginal boy
like Ana. Guillermo now is happy next to his wife Isabel and his daughter Alejandra. Pero Isabel dies and Alejandra is invalid
as a result of an accident. Destroyed Guillermo, falls in the deepest desperation. The Cat kills to one of its partisans and
Ana is witness. The girl is accused to be accomplice of his padrastro and finishes in the Beehive an school-orphanage for
delinquent children. The nuns who run the Beehive give to Ana the affection and support that as much needs. The girl begins
to take care of the transmitter of the school and under the nickname of " the Hormiga" Alejandra communicates with the enfermita.
